Copyright & Design Rights
Embrofolio publishes motif descriptions, embroidery learning content, illustrative previews and printable outlines where available. We respect the rights of artists, designers, photographers, video creators and owners of character or brand artwork.
What you may do
Use the site's written advice as a personal learning reference and link to the original project page. Availability of a printable line drawing does not automatically include commercial redistribution rights or a license to repackage the file. Before selling an embroidered object made from a particular design, check the specific license and any third-party intellectual-property rights that may apply.
Character-inspired designs and third-party sources
Anime-inspired or other recognizable character motifs may raise trademark and copyright issues. Our descriptive references do not imply sponsorship, official affiliation, or permission to commercialize someone else's characters. Video embeds, Etsy listings, external stores and Google Drive download links remain the responsibility of their independent creators or operators. We do not claim ownership of those materials.
Digital mockups, pattern files and credits
Some hero images are AI-assisted or digitally arranged concepts. A simulated embroidered image is not proof of a real sample. A printable PDF outline is not an embroidery-machine digitization file. We aim to describe available assets accurately and correct missing or mistaken attribution.
How to report a rights issue
Send your complaint to contact@embrofolio.com. Include the original work or a source URL, the precise Embrofolio page and image/file at issue, your contact details and role, and an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized. Include good-faith and accuracy statements, and indicate if you are acting for the rights holder. No identity documents are needed with an initial report.
Review and possible remedies
We may ask for clarification, remove a disputed outline or image, correct a source credit or update a link. We will handle sufficiently specific statutory copyright/DMCA communications and counter-notices under applicable law, without promising any particular outcome. We may share necessary details with an affected uploader or host to investigate.
